Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at WVU Medicine. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic and CT procedures at a technical and professional level, exercising independent judgment and initiative to ensure quality images and pertinent information for diagnosis by the interpreting physician.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic and CT procedures, including diagnostic X-ray and CT exams, in accordance with radiologist protocols and physician orders.
- Assist the radiologist with CT-guided and x-ray-guided interventional procedures.
- Administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast for imaging procedures per radiologist protocol and physician order.
- Utilize 3D Vitrea workstation per radiologist protocol and physician request.
- Enter correct information manually and from modality worklist in the PRID workstation and Digital Radiography equipment.
- Send studies to PACS from modality and log in and log out of PACS.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist through the NMTCB.
- Radiologist Technologist through the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board of Examiners, or applicable state where services will be performed.
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
- CT Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Two (2) year's experience in Radiology or CT.
