Job Title: Customer Supply Chain Support
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Supply Chain Support to join our team at Fastenal. As a Customer Supply Chain Support, you will play a critical role in supporting the customer's supply chain operations to improve the performance of the onsite business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and coordinate resources relative to customer requests
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking
- Place and fulfill orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Receive and ship inventory as needed
- Execute inventory fulfillment within the customer facility
- SOURCE and quote new and existing products
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and implement new business processes
- Monetize and report the value of supply chain management activities to the customer
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
- Possess or are working towards a degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management OR have equivalent industry experience and knowledge of the local market
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented
- Be comfortable in a sales-oriented environment
- Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
- Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
- Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
- Possess an interest in career advancement
