Position Overview:

ManTech is currently seeking a dedicated and career-focused Countermeasures & Integration (C&I) Technician II to support operations in Northern Virginia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The C&I Technician II will manage all facets of C&I programs and offer expert advice on related issues.
  • This role supports U.S. Department of State C&I needs in various overseas locations, including potentially high-risk environments.
  • While primarily based in domestic locations, the technician may need to rotate between different theaters and locations as required.
  • The technician will demonstrate extensive knowledge of Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) through the successful execution of complex tasks.
  • Application of advanced knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in the specialized area is essential.
  • Proficiency in C&I concepts, practices, and procedures is expected, along with the ability to provide guidance on C&I matters.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of technical experience in supporting modern C&I systems, including understanding radio frequency (RF) theory and modulation.
  • Ability to develop Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTP) for deploying vehicles equipped with CREW systems based on various threat levels.
  • Proficiency with ECM systems utilized by the U.S. Department of State, such as Egon, Duke, Odin, and Symphony.
  • Self-motivation and the capability to work effectively with minimal supervision are required.
  • Ability to interact professionally and tactfully with all organizational levels is essential.
  • A positive attitude and teamwork skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment are critical.
  • Effective writing and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint) is required; familiarity with maintenance management software is a plus.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • A current Secret security clearance is mandatory.
  • Maintaining the required security clearance/access approvals is essential.

Travel Requirements:

  • OCONUS travel may be necessary for installation, training, or maintenance at diplomatic facilities.
  • Travel may involve critical threat locations worldwide with challenging living conditions.
  • Domestic travel may also be required for training and program coordination.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work involves concrete shop floors and may require positioning oneself inside vehicles in cramped spaces.
  • Ability to move equipment weighing up to 30 pounds across shop floors is necessary.
  • Use of hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and wrenches is expected.
  • Work environments may include warehouses, buildings, and vehicles that can be hot, cold, drafty, or poorly lit.
  • Occasional outdoor work in various terrains and weather conditions may be required.
