Senior Vice President, Lending Operations

We are seeking a strategic leader to oversee and optimize all aspects of our credit union's back-office lending operations. As Senior Vice President, Lending Operations, you will be responsible for creating and implementing the strategic vision for lending operations, ensuring alignment with the credit union's mission and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vision Development: Create and implement the strategic vision for lending operations, ensuring alignment with the credit union's mission and objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously identify and implement strategies to enhance lending processes, improve efficiency, and drive growth across all products.
  • Partnerships: Foster internal and external partnerships to optimize business performance, enhancing Member growth and experience.
  • Team Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing team, setting clear goals, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting staff professional development.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in lending operations, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within the financial services industry, preferably in a credit union or similar institution.
  • Mortgage Sales and Service: Extensive expertise in Mortgage Sales and Service, including Centralized Lending Programs, Commercial Real Estate/C&I, and consumer lending practices.
  • Secondary-Market Expertise: Strong knowledge of secondary-market programs, specifically in FHLB, Freddie Mac, SBA, and USDA programs, is highly desired.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of driving operational excellence through strong leadership and management skills.
