Job Title: Technical Training Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Training Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for training customers on the use of our surveying and layout equipment, as well as providing technical support to ensure customer success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train Topcon sales employees on GPS and Robotic Equipment, software (Magnet Field, Topcon Field, Pocket 3D), and workflow for Topcon products.
  • Work with customers in the field to teach and train on Topcon's hardware and software products.
  • Classroom training at Topcon Solutions Store for groups of 6-8 people on various hardware and software products.
  • Phone support to troubleshoot field problems with customers.

Qualifications:
  • Field surveying experience is required.
  • Topcon 3D Exchange, Topcon Pocket 3D, Topcon (Magnet) Office, Magnet Collage, and other related software products knowledge is a plus.
  • Autodesk programs: Civil 3D, Point Layout, Navisworks, BIM 360 are a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, speaking/presentation ability, and positive, professional persona and appearance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Valid driver's license (company vehicle provided).

Salary and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000, depending on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, tax-saving spending accounts, and a 401(k) plan with employer match.

Working Conditions:
This role requires working 50% of the time indoors with a PC or in a classroom, and 50% outdoor job site duties.
