About the Role
iQuasar is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will play a crucial role in providing timely and effective support to our end-users.
Job Description:
As an IT Support Specialist at iQuasar, your primary responsibility will be to provide first-line technical support to our users, responding to inquiries and resolving technical issues promptly. You will work closely with our team to troubleshoot problems, escalate complex issues when necessary, and ensure a smooth operation of our computer systems and software applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide user support: Respond to user inquiries, resolve technical issues, and assist with hardware, software, and network problems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues: Diagnose and resolve technical issues through effective problem-solving techniques.
- Ticket Management: Log and manage support requests using our ticketing system, prioritize and categorize tickets based on urgency and impact.
- Communication: Communicate technical information to non-technical users in a clear and understandable manner.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues and their resolutions.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of common operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and help desk software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- A degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
