Job Summary:

As a Transportation Vehicle Mechanic Specialist at MV Transportation, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing various vehicle systems. This role requires a combination of technical skills and problem-solving abilities to ensure the smooth operation of our fleet.

We are seeking an experienced mechanic to join our team in $27-$27.39 per hour, with opportunities for career advancement within a national company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair defects in vehicle systems, including steering, suspension, brakes, engines, transmissions, differentials, electrical, wheelchair lifts, and air conditioning systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Document all activities in MV's Fleet Management System.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of apprentice-level training and experience in automotive or diesel mechanics, including relevant coursework and/or vocational training.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing.
