Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Deliver direct educational support in various environments, including inclusive classrooms and specialized settings.
  • Employ diverse instructional techniques to cater to the varied learning styles of students.
  • Collaborate with general education staff, families, and other professionals to create effective support systems.
  • Track and assess student progress through systematic data collection and analysis.
  • Provide both individual and group assistance to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development initiatives.
  • Conduct evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs for special education services.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of student progress and interventions.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and guidelines concerning special education.
  • Participate in ongoing training to remain informed about best practices in the field.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid teaching license in Special Education.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing special education services.
  • In-depth understanding of special education laws and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.
  • Ability to analyze data effectively.
  • Capability to manage a caseload independently.
