Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Solar Energy Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic team at White Oak Solar near Waynesboro, Georgia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of photovoltaic (PV) solar systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working in the solar energy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and inspect PV solar systems to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to PV solar systems, including inverters, modules, and monitoring systems.
- Conduct electrical testing and measurements to verify system functionality and compliance with relevant guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide technical feedback and assist in system optimization.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols during installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Document all work performed, including system upgrades, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Provide training and support to other team members and contractors as needed.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices to enhance knowledge and skills.
Job Overview:
The Site Technician will support the Regional Manager or designee to ensure the perfect execution of the PGD processes. Site Technicians in a solar region perform duties in the following but are not limited to safety, contractor management, electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, overall site operations, asset management and regulatory compliance, reliability engineering, and inventory management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Grad / GED
- Experience: 2+ years
- Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
