Millwright Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist for our sawmill operation. In this critical role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic/pneumatic systems, gears, reducers, bearings, sprockets, chains, belts, and valves. You will also cut, weld, and fabricate components as needed.

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will assist electricians and other maintenance personnel as needed. You will also assist equipment operators and provide operator relief for the operation of process equipment. Additionally, you will assist with clean-up mill-wide and read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed repair drawings related to sawmill equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair complex systems and equipment
• Assist maintenance personnel and equipment operators as needed
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience as a millwright or maintenance technician
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Maintenance experience in a sawmill, manufacturing, or industrial environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to make decisions quickly and safely
