Department: Clinical Services

Status: Exempt

Salary: $82,400

Position Summary

The Clinical Operations Supervisor is responsible for the administrative coordination and oversight of THIRA's clinical services. This role involves managing the clinical administrative functions of various programs within a multidisciplinary mental health organization. Additionally, the supervisor will provide group coverage, crisis intervention, and support as necessary, ensuring timely and ethical responses to clinical emergencies and client/family concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the multidisciplinary clinical team, which includes mental health professionals, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, registered dieticians, and support staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment among clinical and medical staff to promote THIRA's mission and objectives.
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical operations.
  • Encourage teamwork between clinical staff and the Utilization Review Team to ensure accurate and timely treatment summaries that evaluate patient progress and discharge readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, Joint Commission standards, and THIRA policies.
  • Supervise the accuracy and timeliness of clinical documentation throughout the patient care process.
Qualifications
  • PhD, PsyD, or master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Independent licensure in Washington State (PhD, PsyD, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, etc.) or eligibility for licensure if from out-of-state.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of direct care experience with mental health patients.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a PHP, IOP, Residential, or IPU setting.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in healthcare administration or clinical administrative roles.
  • Preferred: Training and experience in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
