Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Appointment Scheduling Specialist to join our team at Texas Health Physicians Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for scheduling all inpatient and outpatient surgery and medical procedures, tests, and studies by the physician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule patient appointments, conduct pre-certification, and gather insurance information
  • Communicate with patients regarding appointments and instructions for procedures and tests
  • Collect fees, such as co-pays and co-insurance, and gather patient personal data
  • Provide positive professional customer service in all patient, staff, and visitor contacts

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
