Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sample Coordinator Associate to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Sample Coordinator Associate, you will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks in support of laboratory operations, including inventory tracking, data entry, and communication with laboratory staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of simple inventory tracking procedures, including receipt, check-in, login, labeling, inventory, transport, check-out, and other related tasks.
  • Communicate status of tasks to supervisor and/or appropriate laboratory staff.
  • Train on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), regulatory guidelines, and storage requirements.
  • Support response to environmental unit alarms and may participate in on-call responsibilities.
  • Perform daily work assignments accurately, timely, and in a safe manner.
Requirements
  • High/Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
  • Technical positions may require a certificate.
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
