Job Summary

This position will play a key role in leading and expanding NTID's dual credit program, Project Fast Forward (PFF), for secondary teachers of the deaf and hard of hearing students across the country.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Director of Project Fast Forward to develop and implement strategies for expanding the dual credit program.
  • Work with the NTID Regional STEM Center (NRSC) to identify and develop new opportunities for dual credit courses and professional development for secondary teachers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with high school administrators and teachers to promote NTID's dual credit program.
  • Provide program support for the Outreach Consortium, NRSC, and Academic Affairs teams.
  • Initiate new projects and activities to support the dual credit program, including but not limited to, ASL courses for non-signing students and virtual trainings.
Requirements

This position requires a strong understanding of deaf education and a passion for working with deaf and hard of hearing students. The ideal candidate will have experience in program development and management, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
