Customer Experience Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers throughout their CarMax journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to customers throughout the sales process, from initial contact to final sale.
- Conduct vehicle condition assessments and communicate information to buyers to facilitate customer appraisals.
- Check in and receive vehicles, complete daily scanning and reconciliation of vehicle inventory, and perform cosmetic inspections to ensure vehicles meet CarMax Quality Standards.
- Perform various administrative duties, including printing daily reports, maintaining transaction paperwork, and contacting finance companies regarding customer contracts.
- Create service appointments and review repair order invoices for retail service work performed, ensuring accuracy of documentation for billing.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Display confidence in self, product, and CarMax, and balance the needs of the customer and the business when making decisions.
- Seek to fully understand and meet customer needs, and create win-win solutions to customer issues.
- Perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced working environment, and read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
