About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health Specialist to join our team at ProgressiveHealth. As an Industrial Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in providing injury prevention services and medical care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Injury Prevention and Medical Care: Provide proactive injury prevention, injury care, assessment, and medical triage as defined by OSHA standards.
  • Ergonomic Assessments: Conduct ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations to prevent musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Patient Assessment and Treatment: Perform patient assessments, provide treatment, and make recommendations for rehabilitation.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to acute medical or life-threatening events.
  • Medical Advice and Education: Provide medical advice, education, and resources to clients.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation and provide reports to leadership and clients.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or related field and NATABOC certification.
  • Licensure and Registration: Required state licensure, certification, and registration in good standing.
  • CPR/AED and ACLS Certification: Current CPR/AED and ACLS certification.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in ergonomic and/or occupational health is a plus.
  • Professionalism and Communication: High degree of professionalism in written and verbal communication.
  • Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications.
