We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Specialist to join our team at ProgressiveHealth. In this role, you will be responsible for providing injury prevention services and support onsite for a major airline carrier at the Atlanta Hartsfield - Jackson International Airport.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or a related field and NATABOC certification. Previous supervisory and program management experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing proactive injury prevention, injury care, assessment, and medical triage as defined by OSHA standards
- Coordinating and implementing rehabilitation treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercise, modalities, and work conditioning as necessary
- Providing ergonomic assessments and support by understanding the site operations, job processes, and physical demands in order to make ergonomic recommendations for the purposes of preventing more serious musculoskeletal conditions from occurring
- Keeping accurate, detailed documentation with efficiency while being able to provide feedback to the industrial athlete and client for continuous health improvements
- Understanding and providing reports with key metrics to leadership, client partners, and operations management
