Occupational Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Industrial Prevention Specialist to join our team at ProgressiveHealth. As an Industrial Prevention Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing injury prevention services onsite for a major airline carrier at the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide proactive injury prevention and first aid injury care as defined by OSHA standards, including ergonomic postural/body mechanic education and/or escalation of medical care if needed.
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and provide support by understanding site operations, job processes, and physical demands to make ergonomic recommendations for preventing musculoskeletal conditions.
- Keep accurate and detailed documentation while providing feedback to industrial athletes and clients for continuous health improvements.
- Understand and provide reports with key metrics to leadership, client partners, and operations management.
- A background in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Health & Wellness, Health Promotion, Human Performance, Public Health, Physical Education, Fitness, Personal Training, or Athletics.
- CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s).
- Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations, preferred.
- The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift.
- Previous ergonomic and/or occupational health experience is a plus.
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication.
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision.
- Be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
