Home Health Occupational Therapist Job Description

At Interim HealthCare, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Health Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients in their homes to help them regain their independence and learn to perform everyday activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to an illness or injury
  • Work as part of a home health team to develop and implement a patient's plan of care
  • Assess patient deficits, establish therapy goals, and document progress
  • Assist patients with exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination
  • Suggest adaptive equipment to improve home safety and independence
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program and active OT license in GA
  • Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience in home healthcare
  • HCHB charting experience
  • CPR certification, negative TB screening or chest x-ray
  • Drivers license, reliable transportation & auto insurance
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
