Advanced Practice Provider in Pediatric Cancer Care

The University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation seeks a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider to join our pediatric hematology oncology team. As an integral member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to children with hematologic and oncologic conditions.

About the Position:
This full-time role requires a strong clinical foundation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative environment. You will conduct thorough health histories and physical assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing patient education and support. Your expertise will help ensure the best possible outcomes for our young patients.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health histories and physical assessments of pediatric patients with hematologic and oncologic diagnoses
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Provide exceptional patient education and support
- Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate patient care and promote optimal outcomes

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have a Master's or Doctorate's degree from an accredited Nursing Program (for Nurse Practitioners) or Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited PA Program (for Physician Assistants). Additionally, you must hold active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in the state(s) of practice, as well as active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. A DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire is also required.

Benefits:
The University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
