Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of AC power systems, including UPS and PDU units.
  • Provide on-site and phone assistance to customers, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Collaborate with technical support teams to resolve complex technical problems and implement field change notices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including timecards, expense reports, and service request task closure, in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Experience in electrical systems installation and repair, or a related technical field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, peers, and leadership.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on electrical or mechanical systems.
Working Conditions

Travel to customer sites is required, with occasional unscheduled service and a weekly, rotational on-call schedule. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential for this role.

Physical Requirements

The associate is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or other components; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, and smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
