Dynamic Admissions Recruiter Wanted for University in San Jose, CA

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a passionate and results-driven Admissions Recruiter to join our client's team at their University's new site in San Jose, CA. If you have a knack for building relationships, a background in higher education recruitment, and a desire to contribute to student success, this role is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement student recruitment strategies for our client's new San Jose site.
  • Attend high school and college fairs, organize campus tours, and conduct virtual presentations to engage prospective students.
  • Build relationships with guidance counselors, community leaders, and underrepresented groups to increase diversity.
  • Advise students on admission requirements, financial aid options, and academic programs, providing personalized support throughout the application process.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and maintain consistent messaging.
  • Track and analyze recruitment data, reporting trends to senior management for strategy adjustments.
  • Plan and coordinate on-campus and off-campus events, including open houses and orientation programs.
  • Work with academic departments to align recruitment efforts with specific program offerings and answer questions from prospective students.

Qualifications:

  • Requires Bachelor's degree, 1+ years of recruitment or customer service experience, strong communication, data analysis, and event planning skills.
  • Must be flexible with hours and able to travel for recruitment activities.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract prospective students.
  • Flexible hours, with potential evening or weekend commitments for events.
  • Willingness to travel for outreach and recruitment activities.
  • Ability to handle peak recruitment seasons and high workloads.
