The position of Strategic Director of Global Medical Device Marketing offers a unique opportunity to drive business growth and success in our Low Voltage Technologies department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans, value propositions, and initiatives to drive business results.

This role requires a strong leader with exceptional strategic marketing acumen, ability to think critically, and excellent communication skills. You will lead a high-performing team of marketers, manage upstream and downstream marketing activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of launch plans and ongoing marketing activities.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in medical devices, healthcare, diagnostics, brand management, or healthcare marketing. Proven ability to interact directly with executive leadership, develop complex strategic business and marketing plans, and execute them effectively is essential. Additionally, expertise in insight-based strategic marketing communications development, deep understanding of US and international markets, and experience in P&L and budget management are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Create and execute global marketing strategies, value propositions, and marketing initiatives to drive business results.
  • Lead and Mentor Teams: Manage and mentor a team of high-performing individuals, providing coaching and guidance to align with organizational objectives.
  • Market Growth and Analysis: Identify growth opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and develop business cases to support R&D and Business Development.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including global, regional, and local markets, field sales force, technology, legal, regulatory, medical affairs, public affairs, executive management, creative departments, vendors, and healthcare professionals.
  • Customer Focus: Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, leading market research and intelligence efforts to inform strategy and tactical decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12- 15 years of experience in medical devices, healthcare, diagnostics, brand management, or healthcare marketing.
  • Proven ability to interact directly with executive leadership to drive strategy and investment decisions.
  • Strong strategic marketing acumen and experience in leading upstream and/or downstream marketing functions.
  • Expertise in insight-based strategic marketing communications development.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with primary and secondary market research and data analysis.
  • Experience and proficiency with P&L and budget management.
  • Ability to travel approximately 40%, including internationally.
  • BS/BA in Marketing or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

The estimated salary for this position is $162,000 - $324,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
