Position Overview

SGI Global, LLC is looking for a dedicated Crisis Management Watch Officer to enhance the operational capabilities of the Department of Homeland Security's Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office (CWMD). This role is pivotal in monitoring, analyzing, and disseminating critical information related to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats and incidents on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • The Crisis Management Watch Officer will be tasked with documenting and communicating vital Watch Desk insights to CWMD leadership.
  • Engage in data analysis and produce comprehensive reports based on received information.
  • Utilize the CWMD Emergency Notification System to effectively alert personnel regarding predefined scenarios in line with established protocols.
  • Maintain continuous oversight of all information pertinent to Crisis Management and Response, operating 24/7/365.
  • Deliver situational awareness and coordinate responses to worldwide events affecting the CBRN and medical sectors, while preparing and refining operational analytical products for CWMD leadership.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a relevant discipline such as Homeland Security, health, or CBRN.
  • A minimum of four years of applicable experience, preferably in military, law enforcement, or intelligence operations.
  • Ability to secure DHS Suitability and possess a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Preferred: Experience in high-pressure environments, particularly in crisis management and response roles.
