Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Senior Accounting Specialist to support our expanding operations. This role entails overseeing various corporate accounting functions essential to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute journal entries, detailed analyses, and account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the monthly financial closing procedures.
  • Generate monthly financial statements and reports.
  • Facilitate the annual audit process.
  • Oversee the management of purchase order accruals.
  • Engage actively in ERP system implementation planning.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions for recurring accounting tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Planning & Analysis team on budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with robust internal controls and proper segregation of duties.
  • Support the implementation of systems necessary for public company operations.
  • Continuously enhance the precision and efficiency of accounting processes.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in corporate accounting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare financial statements and comprehensive reports.
  • Capability to implement new accounting practices effectively.
  • Strong communication skills aligned with the company’s values.
  • Excellent judgment and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification is preferred.
