Qualifications:

Required: Proven experience in media relations, public relations, or a related field.

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building.
  • Adept at managing high-pressure situations and crisis communications.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of successful plan implementation.
  • Proficient in digital communications and social media management.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Legal degree (Juris Doctor).
  • Experience or familiarity with local government operations and policies.
