Job Summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a skilled Head Cashier to join our team. As a Head Cashier, you will be responsible for supervising a team of cashiers, providing training, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train a team of cashiers to ensure excellent customer service and efficient cash handling
• Monitor and maintain cash register supply levels and cleanliness standards
• Assign store sweeps and oversee the proper execution of meal and rest breaks
• Participate in disciplinary actions and provide input to management as needed
• Operate front-end equipment, including registers, calculators, and scanners
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training
• Dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule
• Outgoing and friendly behavior, positive attitude, and ability to interact with customers
• Ability to operate front-end equipment and perform repetitious activities
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
