Job Summary

The Sanitation Supervisor will be a key leader in the sanitation department, responsible for maintaining world-class standards at our Chaska bakery. This role will direct, motivate, and develop team members to achieve outstanding performance results through coaching and providing feedback to improve individual skills and foster a culture of teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Assign duties and monitor the effectiveness of daily sanitizing processes to meet customer, government, and company requirements.
  • Enforce safety and food safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Educate, develop, and motivate the sanitation team to achieve optimal results.
  • Schedule adequate workforce coverage to meet business needs.
  • Verify equipment has been sanitized and ensure proper inventory of equipment for daily sanitation.
  • Fill out daily sanitation logs and shift paperwork accurately.
  • Perform additional duties as deemed necessary to meet business needs set forth by the Plant Director.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and third-party audit standards is helpful.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and plan work activities effectively.

Work Schedule

This role requires working 1st Shift Hours, Friday-Monday, with 10-hour shifts.
