Key Responsibilities:
POSITION SUMMARY:
This role involves the physical mixing of chemicals and maintaining cleanliness standards.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
1. Execute tasks from the master sanitation checklist.
2. Monitor and maintain chemical levels in designated tanks.
3. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures regarding chemical usage.
4. Assist in the cleaning of production lines by disassembling, assembling, sanitizing, and cleaning equipment.
5. Distribute chemicals and supplies to specified areas on the production floor.
6. Communicate relevant information effectively to team members during shifts and at shift changes.
7. Report any process inefficiencies, equipment issues, safety concerns, and quality control matters to the department Lead or Supervisor.
8. Follow safe work practices, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure product quality is upheld. Report any conditions that may compromise food safety or quality.
9. Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
No prior experience or specialized training is required.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
To foster a safe and efficient manufacturing environment, effective communication in basic English (both verbal and written) is essential.
This includes the ability to articulate, read, and understand safety guidelines, rules, and warnings for oneself and others in various situations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend straightforward instructions, brief correspondence, and memos. Capability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in individual and small group settings.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction with two-digit numbers.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Capability to address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized scenarios.
