In collaboration with a managerial team, you will oversee staff, work closely with colleagues, and provide support where necessary. Compensation: $18-$24/hour

Key Responsibilities

? Develop and manage work schedules while preparing production documentation (including production sheets and recipes).
? Oversee daily operations and activities.
? Ensure food production adheres to safety and quality standards in line with policies and departmental requirements.
? Maintain a secure, organized, and hazard-free storage environment for food items.
? Ensure timely and safe serving of food items according to menu specifications while following company policies.
? Uphold a sanitary work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
? Conduct weekly inventory checks.
? Prepare orders as necessary to guarantee accurate production levels.
? Supervise and assess team members; provide guidance to enhance employee development, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
? Ensure a safe and hazard-free workplace.
? Train and mentor food service personnel.
? Keep logs of all equipment maintenance within the department.
? Complete food safety and temperature logs with necessary corrective actions.
? Execute preventative maintenance checklists.
? Recommend updates or replacements of equipment to meet operational needs.
? Demonstrate proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
? Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager when their expertise is essential for any given program.
? Fill in for absent staff as required.
? Stay informed about daily catering events and ensure timely preparation and delivery.
? Be available for occasional evening and weekend catered events.
? Participate in food service meetings with staff.
? Maintain effective communication with team members (including office staff, via email, phone calls, inter-office mail, etc.).
? May perform cashier duties as needed.
? Foster positive public relations.

Qualifications

? Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding verbal instructions.
? Completion of a sanitation course is required within the first year.
? Knowledgeable in managing an efficient and cost-effective program.
? Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
? Maintain composure under pressure.
? Capable of resolving interpersonal conflicts.
? Strong organizational abilities.
