In this role, you will serve as a Customer Support Administrator, providing Tier 1 Technical Support for enterprise Oracle applications. Your duties will include in-depth problem analysis, navigating complex challenges, and delivering exceptional assistance to users, ensuring a smooth experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for customer support, representing Oracle's support team
  • Confirm customer eligibility for support and collaborate with the Support Operations HOST team as necessary
  • Provide primary application support for various product or system-related service requests
  • Accurately log and manage support requests, ensuring prompt resolution
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues quickly or escalate as required
  • Oversee service requests throughout the resolution process
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and offer guidance to both customers and internal teams
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing by providing feedback on support articles
  • Recreate and resolve technical issues reported by customers
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Experience with OPERA Property Management System (PMS) or MICROS Point of Sale (POS)
  • A background in IT is beneficial
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and relevant technical certifications such as Network+, CompTIA A+, Cisco, etc.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the Hotel/Hospitality or Food & Beverage sectors
  • A customer-focused approach with excellent communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse teams
