As a leading crop insurance provider in the U.S., we offer a wide range of private product coverages and federal crop insurance plans through the United States Department of Agriculture's Risk Management Agency.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct field inspections and related responsibilities, including reading maps and aerial photos, measuring fields, and discussing findings of crop loss with farmers.
- Convey complex regulations and interpretations to claimants, agents, and industry people on claim situations.
- Perform fact-finding regarding crop damage, record information, and transmit loss information to accurately determine potential indemnities.
- Ensure legal compliance by maintaining a strong working knowledge of regulatory and company policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more months of experience in the agricultural area.
- Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire date.
- Reliable personal transportation and travel within territory.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Experience with crops, such as wheat, barley, canola, and peas.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
