As a Platform Testing Manager - Data Enablement, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our data platforms, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Testing: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality and performance of our data platforms, ensuring seamless integration with our Enterprise Data Management and Analytics systems.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues, implementing process improvements to enhance data accuracy and reliability.
  • Technical Specifications and Capabilities: Translate business requirements into technical specifications, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with our data strategy and architecture.
  • NDC Standards and Terminologies: Develop in-depth knowledge of NDC standards, terminologies, and order processes, applying this expertise to drive testing and validation efforts.
  • Business Needs and Data Requirements: Analyze complex business needs and data requirements, crafting effective data content for reporting, visualization, and actionable insights.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with technology partners, business stakeholders, and users, providing clear and concise communications to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute robust test plans, validating processes to ensure successful completion and supporting the creation of valid test scenarios.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years' Experience: Proven experience in the travel industry, with a strong understanding of travel technology and various phases of the travel reservation process.
  • Travel Technology Expertise: Familiarity with at least 2 distinct GDS and APIs, as well as experience working with XML, JSON, and various types of payloads.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Experience testing travel technology using different tools, such as SOAP UI, Postman, JMeter, etc.
  • SQL and Data Warehousing: Strong experience with SQL and familiarity with design and development of data warehouse/data mart schemas and ETL processes.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and well-organized test documentation.
  • Business and Technical Requirements: Experience writing business and technical requirements, with a strong understanding of business needs and data requirements.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to demonstrate attention to detail and focus on quality.
  • Results-Driven and Collaborative: Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team, with a results-driven approach and a willingness to take the lead when needed.
