Project Manager

The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and finalization of projects according to established project schedules with strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle.
Key Responsibilities- Create project schedules and forecasts
- Process project orders from intake to warranty start
- Responsible for manufacturing procurement and purchase orders
- Coordinate and check deliverables
- Maintain project status reports and change orders
- Manage project budget and measure performance metrics
- Direct and manage project planning and execution
- Define project scope and milestones
- Develop engineering submittal packages
- Proactively manage the engineering submittal process
- Effectively communicate project expectations
- Liaise with project stakeholders
- Estimate materials, labor, and resources needed
- Create or direct the creation of purchase orders
- Recommend budget changes and draft change orders
- Proactively manage changes in project scope
- Obtain written change orders for significant changes
- Determine 3rd party vendors or staffing required
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities
- Identify and resolve issues within the project team
- Manage project dependencies and critical path
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones
- Track project milestones and deliverables
- Develop and deliver progress reports and proposals
- Define project success criteria
- Coach, mentor, and supervise project team members
- Build business relationships vital to project success
- Conduct project analyses and create recommendations reports
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline
- Minimum 2 years work experience in application engineering, inside sales, or other relevant technical support
- Experience working with independent manufacturer's representatives and vendors
- Exposure to sales, sales management, and/or project management
- Wastewater industry or Industrial experience a plus
- Project Management experience or Certification a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient computer skills and MS-Office suite applications
- Ability to read and interpret measurements and technical specifications
- Familiarity with project management software tools
- Fluent spoken and written English required
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
