Job Title: Project Management and Administrative Support Specialist

Overview

The Epa National Student Services Contract is seeking a highly skilled Project Management and Administrative Support Specialist to join our team in Research Triangle Park, NC. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our Project Management and Administrative Support team, ensuring the smooth operation of our projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Project Management and Administrative Support team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including creating project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure the successful completion of projects, including tracking progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide technical support to team members, including data analysis, report writing, and presentation development.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science, biology, ecology, climate science, or project management.
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, with a salary of $23.84 per hour. The selected applicant will become a temporary employee of ORAU and will work as a contractor to EPA. The position is expected to begin in December 2024.
