Job Overview:

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric medical center for burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties. We are part of an international pediatric healthcare system of hospitals, clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, and global outreach. We are seeking a strong candidate to lead our philanthropic efforts, implementing a comprehensive strategic plan for fundraising activities, working closely with the Clinic Director and reporting to the Executive Director of Location Philanthropy.

We provide a full range of programs, services, and support, caring for children in a welcoming, warm, and reassuring environment. All candidates must bring a mission-driven and community-minded approach to the role.


Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, working closely with the Clinic Director and reporting to the Executive Director of Location Philanthropy. Maintain a robust portfolio of six- and seven-figure donors and prospects, pursuing impactful fundraising targets. Collaborate with Shriners Children's headquarters staff, Twin Cities administration, and the Board of Governors to advance the philanthropy office. Grow donor engagement, acquisition, and stewardship, supporting overall philanthropic success.

Qualifications:

Experience:
7 years of progressively responsible fundraising experience required. 5 years of experience working with major giving and planned giving programs required. Demonstrable track record of fundraising accomplishments required, including experience in building a major gifts program into a core component of philanthropic activity. Experience closing major and planned gifts from individuals required. Working knowledge of all planned giving vehicles, including prior experience with Charitable Gift Annuities, required. Previous personnel management experience required. Experience in healthcare philanthropy preferred.

Education:
