We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative II to join our team at Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions. As a key member of our department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective registration of patients, while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Perform scheduling, registration, and patient pre-admission and admission functions, ensuring accurate and complete patient demographic information.
- Employ proper and compliant patient liability collection techniques, both before and after date of service.
- Provide world-class customer service, greeting patients and families, and addressing their needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or degree preferred.
- 0-1 year of experience in a customer service role, with a background in medical facilities, health insurance, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong typing skills (35 wpm minimum) and proficiency in PC/CRT/printer operations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to interpret physician orders and insurance cards.
