Job Summary:

Arkansas Children's Hospital is seeking a skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team. As a key member of our outpatient clinic team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and ensuring a positive first impression for our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule patient appointments and ensure referrals are obtained.
  • Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy standards.
  • Engage patients, families, and visitors to provide a positive first impression.
  • Complete registration and discharge activities, including co-payment collection and insurance verification.
  • Collaborate with clinical partners to optimize patient communication and clinic flow.
  • Actively engage in activities to enhance the patient experience.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Administrative support experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college program or technical school.
  • Related field experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Work Environment:

This is a part-time position working various shifts, including evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to work in a dynamic environment.
