Patient Access Coordinator

As a Patient Access Representative at Arkansas Children's Hospital, you will be responsible for providing a positive first impression to patients, families, and visitors. Your role will involve scheduling appointments, ensuring referrals are obtained, and completing registration and discharge activities.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule all patient appointments and ensure referrals are obtained.
- Meet or exceed expected productivity and accuracy standards.
- Engage with patients, families, and visitors to provide a positive experience.
- Complete registration and discharge activities, including co-payment collection and insurance verification.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and tests.
- Collaborate with clinical partners to optimize patient communication and clinic flow.
- Enhance the patient experience by encouraging patient satisfaction surveys.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Administrative support experience, preferably with Epic.
- Ability to register patients in multiple centers.
- Associate's degree or equivalent.
- Related field experience.
