Baptist Health is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant or Radiologic Technologist to join our team at BHMG Urgent Care Richmond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and record patient information, including medical histories and medications, to determine physical and psychological needs.
  • Perform selected treatments, procedures, and routine duties under the supervision of physicians and the Practice Manager/Practice Coordinator.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and order in the department.
  • Responsible for all records and charting of information related to individual cases.
  • Perform radiographic exams as required with general equipment.
  • Collect patient histories and other related information, coordinating and communicating with others as needed.
  • Maintain appropriate and efficient patient flow through exam and treatment areas.
  • Maintain adequate supplies and equipment in exam rooms and other areas as assigned and prepares room after each patient.
  • Assist physicians, ARNPs, and nurses with patient care, exams, tests, and procedures as designated.
  • Accurately obtain and record vital signs, reporting abnormal readings as appropriate.
  • Perform clerical duties as assigned, including assembling information for patient education, assisting patients with nutrition and toileting as needed, scheduling, and obtaining insurance authorizations for medication.

Requirements:

Medical Assistant education or experience.

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or LMR.

Active ARRT and KROC within 90 days of hire.

BCLS certified.

Medical Assistant, LMR, Radiology Tech, RMA, RT.
