Medical Office Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team at Commonwealth Home Health, a part of LHC Group. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical leadership team and office manager with routine clerical tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities- Assist with filing, shredding, and data entry, including processing workflow tasks as assigned.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Previous medical office experience is preferred but not required.
