Cardiac Services Technician

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Services Technician to join our team. As a Cardiac Services Technician, you will be responsible for observing, recognizing, interpreting, evaluating, and documenting EKG tracings on telemetry-monitored patients in order to detect deviations from patient's norm. You will also promptly notify appropriate personnel of dysrhythmias and operate and utilize monitoring system to full capacity. Ensuring proper and safe functioning of the telemetry equipment is also a key responsibility.
**Responsibilities:**
- Observe and recognize EKG tracings on telemetry-monitored patients
- Interpret and evaluate EKG tracings to detect deviations from patient's norm
- Document EKG tracings and notify appropriate personnel of dysrhythmias
- Operate and utilize monitoring system to full capacity
- Ensure proper and safe functioning of the telemetry equipment
**Requirements:**
- High School Grad or Equivalent
- Completion of a monitor technician surveillance program/course required upon hire
- 1 year experience in monitor technician surveillance within the last 5 years will be accepted in substitute of a monitor tech surveillance program/course
