Job Title: Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and hardworking Service Technician to join our Northeastern team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electronic and mechanical issues for Petroleum and EV Equipment, software and hardware installations, and performing emergency and scheduled repairs and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform highly diversified duties to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain petroleum and EV equipment.
  • Service mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform various technical duties including Point of Sale configuration changes, application loads, and networking.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Complete service requests and maintenance repair items in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize various testing devices, multiple hand and power tools related to the job.
  • Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures according to applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations and requirements.
Requirements and Skills:
  • One+ year experience working in an electrical capacity or education.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
  • Experience with EV Charging Stations or other power-related electronics is a plus.
  • Electrical certifications or licenses a plus.
  • Must be able to work independently and be a strong problem-solver.
  • Strong attention to safety and willingness to follow all safety protocols.
  • CPE250 Standalone, CPE250 Paired, CT4000, and the CPF50 training a plus.
  • 24/7 on-call rotation with other techs in your area.
  • Experience with various POS systems (Verifone/NCR) and alarm systems are a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good driving record is required.
  • Ability to use a computer and smartphone proficiently.
Additional Requirements:
  • Experience with the following is a plus: Dresser Wayne Dispensers, Fuel Dispensers, Verifone POS, Veeder Root, Fuel Master, Red Jacket, FE Petro, Franklin Fueling Systems equipment.
  • Must have previous experience as a petroleum service technician.
  • High School diploma/GED.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Mechanical and electrical equipment knowledge.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Must be willing to travel and work an on-call rotation.
Work Environment:

The petroleum service technician position requires standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing. This includes indoor and outdoor work. Position requires the use of a ladder. Position requires the ability to lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds. Position requires travel. Position requires weekend and evening work as demand mandates.
