Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Application Engineer to join our team. As a Field Application Engineer, you will work with Business Groups, Partners, and Customers to drive successful sales conversions. This includes presales activities, where you will assist in formulating product specifications and solutions tailored to customer needs and accelerate the sales process accordingly.
You will design training materials for technical field training and assist in providing field training to the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement
- Develop strong relationships with key customers to engage early design in jobs.
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure all deliverables are met.
- Technical Expertise
- Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge in power electronics and data center solutions.
- Collaborate with sales teams, engineers, and product managers to obtain accurate information on application usage, system operations, and product management.
- Design and Proposal
- Provide design proposals and submittals to customers.
- Perform desired tests and installation procedures.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Identify risks and raise issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Field Applications Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar role in data center, UPS, or power distribution industry.
- Experience with Power Electronics is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Self-driven and results-oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- 20% travel required with overnight stays.
- Strong Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and effective presentation skills.
- Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus.
