About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enterprise Account Executive to join our team at Spectrum. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for guiding government and education clients through the selection of fiber-based networking and managed solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with government, K-12 and university clients to highlight how our telecommunications products can resolve their complex technology needs.
  • Provide dedicated account management and proactively pursue new clients using business development strategies.
  • Travel and consult with established and prospective clients to develop product solutions.
  • Navigate government and education procurement processes to set up successful sales.
  • Deliver product proposals and presentations to decision-makers and conduct negotiations.
  • Travel to client sites to manage field sales activities.
  • Identify target markets, industries and contacts to expand product portfolio.
  • Encourage client retention through coordinated efforts with multiple internal teams.
Requirements
  • Three or more years of sales experience as a proven sales performer.
  • Three or more years of outside telecommunications-related sales experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Network building, negotiation, closing and interpersonal English communication skills.
  • Quick learner, deadline-driven and the ability to multitask.
  • Availability to travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities. Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three or more years of experience in B2B sales selling data, voice, cloud or video solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience working with state and local government or education.
