Your Role:
As a key member of the Enterprise Operations Analysis (EOA) team, you will utilize your expertise in astrodynamics and satellite operations to conduct in-depth modeling, simulation, and analytical studies. Your insights will be invaluable in guiding strategic decisions across various Lines of Business within Lockheed Martin Space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive studies to model and evaluate the performance of ground-based and space-based sensing systems, focusing on space target analysis (e.g., collection efficiency, resource distribution, access opportunities, and identifying gaps).
  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ascertain their analytical requirements, organize analysis tasks, and lead teams to deliver impactful findings.
  • Present analytical results to stakeholders, assessing enterprise performance across diverse configuration scenarios to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Assist various programs in developing Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) aimed at enhancing space protection strategies.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in modeling, simulating, and analyzing satellite systems.
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as MATLAB, Python, and/or R.
  • Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools like STK or AFSIM.

Security Clearance:
This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience in the ISR domain and/or Space Security.
  • Leadership experience in small engineering teams.
  • Strong background in Math, Physics, and Statistics.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex technical challenges and collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines.

Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.

Work Environment:
This position requires onsite work at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. We offer flexible work schedules to accommodate our employees' needs.
