Job Summary

As a Security Alarm Center Specialist at 7-Eleven, you will be responsible for providing burglary and intrusion alarm monitoring and emergency services dispatching for our locations. You will also provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for alarm panel systems and components, and support the Maintenance organization in installing and programming alarm panels and related components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve incidents and requests in a professional, time-sensitive, and customer-focused manner in accordance with company and Security Alarm Center policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and process alarm signals for company-operated stores, offices, and warehouses, including robberies, burglaries, late opens, and other incidents.
  • Process and communicate details related to incidents occurring at store locations.
  • Perform Live Store Tours (LST) using store DVR systems remotely.
  • Respond to alerts related to fraudulent store transactions.
  • Read, interpret, and follow procedures described in the internal Knowledge Base.
  • Initiate timely communication of critical events to Security Alarm Center Team Leads and Supervisor.
  • Complete other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management.
  • Meet or exceed key performance indicators of the role.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, and understand the staffing expectations of working in a 24/7/365 environment.
  • Provide assistance and support to Operations, Maintenance, and Asset Protection personnel.
  • Data entry, general word processing, and administrative activities.
Requirements
  • High School/GED required, Associates/2 Year Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to research and resolve issues.
  • Ability to manage confidential employee information and adhere to strict data privacy standards.
  • Capable of working in a high-energy, fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to remain calm in high-stress scenarios.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across all levels of the business.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a dynamic team-oriented environment.
