**Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a highly qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team at West Ada School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Instructional Plans
Design and implement individualized instructional plans that cater to the unique needs and abilities of students with special needs.
Assess and Evaluate Student ProgressRegularly assess and evaluate student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and making data-driven decisions to inform instruction.
Collaborate with Colleagues and ParentsWork closely with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting students with special needs.
Manage Classroom EnvironmentEstablish and maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
Requirements- Proven Experience in Special Education
Minimum 2 years of experience in special education, with a proven track record of success in creating and implementing effective instructional plans.
Strong Communication and Interpersonal SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to Adapt to Changing NeedsAbility to adapt to changing needs and circumstances, with a flexible and responsive approach to supporting students with special needs.
Valid Idaho Teaching CertificationValid Idaho teaching certification in special education, with a strong understanding of state and federal regulations.
