Country Meadows Retirement Communities is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the personal care department and ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the personal care department, ensuring that residents receive safe and effective care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality of care and service provided to residents.
- Manage and supervise a team of nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as therapy and activities, to ensure that residents receive a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure that our care and service standards are being met.
- Current unencumbered LPN or RN license in the state where employed.
- Minimum one year of experience in assisted living or healthcare.
- Prior supervisory experience in the healthcare environment strongly preferred.
- CPR certified.
- Ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe and efficient performance of the job.
