Director of Anesthesia Operations

Seeking a visionary leader to drive the transformation of our Anesthesia Department into a system-wide leader in anesthesia services. As the Director of Anesthesia, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our department and contributing to the growth and expansion of our institution.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a dynamic transformation of the Anesthesia Department, driving growth, expansion, and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with Department Chairs and Administrators to provide leadership for the department's clinical, academic, research, and community missions.
- Manage daily operational oversight of clinical offices, patient care areas, and research, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Partner with the Outpatient Director(s) and Medical Director(s) to identify and develop new service opportunities, driving revenue growth and departmental success.
- Develop policies, procedures, and training to enhance service quality and cost-effectiveness, ensuring the department's continued success in a highly matrixed academic medical environment.
- Master's degree in business or a related field.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of related experience, with at least five (5) years in a management role.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, innovation, and change management.
- Ability to develop partnerships with physicians and communicate effectively with staff and patients.
